We had an amazing stay at this guesthouse. The host was incredibly kind and took a lot of time to give us helpful advice. He speaks fluent English and explained public transport, local tips, and many other things in detail. The food was freshly prepared and absolutely delicious, and the whole family made us feel genuinely welcome. The host also arranged a tuk-tuk driver for us, which made getting around very easy. All in all, we had a really great time and would definitely recommend this place. Good to know: air conditioning comes with an extra charge. If you prefer not to pay it, the room also has a fan.

The stay was wonderful. The room was clean, simple and very functional, there was always hot water in the bathroom. Breakfasts and dinners were delicious, prepared with great care. I really appreciated the option to rent a bike – it was incredibly helpful when exploring the Sacred City, which is truly vast. You can also use the services of a tuk-tuk driver, e.g. for a trip to Mihintale. The host also organised a safari to Wilpattu, everything went very smoothly. Special thanks to Herath for such a warm welcome, help in every matter and patiently answering all questions. You can turn to him with any request - he will always be happy to help and advise you on everything. I definitely recommend this place!

It was a pleasure to meet herath and his lovely family. It was clean and everything was working good. Herath picked us up and even gave us a ride to the next place.! Highly recomand this place!! An experience, everybody should have made. 🙂

Dear Travellers Herath and his wife have been very pleasant for me. I am so happy that I stayed here and got to know them because they made me feel like a very good friend or family member. They helped me with so much when I had to recover from an accident. All thanks to both of you! My room was very clean and I got to eat fresh fruits with them and some of their friends. It was so memorable and a truly wonderful time that everyone would love by visiting an home stay 😉 Definitely I am coming here next time again. Thanks a lot!

Such a great experience here. The owner and his family are so lovely. The owner himself helped me find things to do. And even help me plan for the rest of my trip. The room itself it very very clean, bathroom too - definitely would recommend for any backer that needs a break from the dorms for a couple days or any families visiting. I will also say as a female solo traveller I felt very safe and comfortable here 👍🏽

We were warmly welcomed and cared for by the family. Herath told us a lot and helped us get from A to B, as well as giving us tips for food. For us, these were the best two days in Sri Lanka so far, as we had a great, authentic experience with the temples and the homestay. Thank you for everything, Herath!
